Keith E. Campbell, MD, RPVI, RVT, (Physician) is a native East Tennessean who grew up in the Knoxville area and is a graduate of Farragut High School. He graduated with honors from East Tennessee State University with a BS in Biological Sciences in 1992. He remained in Johnson City to attend ETSU’s Quillen College of Medicine where he graduated with a Doctorate in Medicine in 1996. During residency training in South Carolina, he served as Assistant Chief Resident in his second year and Chief Resident in his third year.
He practiced in the panhandle of Florida for four years. After receiving additional training in Chicago for phlebology (the speciality for diagnosis and treatment of vein disease), he returned to the Knoxville area in 2003. Prior to opening Tennessee Vein Center in 2010, he treated varicose veins at an office in Turkey Creek and at Fort Sanders West within a national medical group that was also dedicated to the treatment of venous disease.
Dr. Campbell is a vein specialist who is dual certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine. Since 2003, he has exclusively practiced phlebology in East Tennessee. He is an active member and diplomate of the American Vein and Lymphatic Society and the Tennessee Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. He developed and directed an annual venous disease symposium from 2005 to 2010. Dr. Campbell is married, has three married children and six grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with his family, being involved in his church, gardening, and the outdoors.
